Max Austin has been a mortgage loan originator since 1999 and started his own mortgage brokerage firm in 2007, Austin Mortgage Group, after working with two other local mortgage companies in Birmingham, Alabama. Max is also a licensed REALTOR ® with Alfa Realty in Wetumpka, AL (AL #93283.) In January of 2010, Austin Mortgage Group, LLC joined forces with Principal Mortgage, LLC offering conventional, FHA, VA, USDA and construction loans. Max is a Birmingham native and is a graduate of Mountain Brook High School and Furman University, in Greenville South Carolina. He lives in Homewood, Alabama with his wife Shannon, children, Ben, Lily Kate, Molly Maxwell and their beagle, Macaroni.
